In the words of the IEC of Hamilton, the event hosts of the WAGE Construction Career & Resource Fair,  “this event is the perfect opportunity to explore career options and learn about available resources in the construction industry!” Students and job seekers can connect with industry-leading vendors and businesses, such as Mohawk College, LiUNA Local 837, Oleroo Works Inc., Enbridge Gas Inc., and Edge Factor is proud to be among them.

On March 29, 2023  Edge Factor’s Community team member Kelsey Walker and President  & Founder, Jeremy Bout will be at Mohawk College’s campus in Stoney Creek, Ontario, hosting a booth in the Atrium and presentations in the Awareness Theatre. Join us at the Edge Factor booth where we’ll showcase the tools and services we provide for students, WAGE participants, job seekers, organizations and employers. Come to learn more, ask questions, and explore what the future could look like for you! Connect with the Edge Factor team at our booth to learn about career and workforce development tools you can tap into, and for your chance to get a t-shirt!

As part of the day, Jeremy Bout will provide a short presentation to students, job seekers and WAGE participants, that will focus on inspiring them to explore careers in the skilled trades and construction industry. This presentation will showcase how Edge Factor can help them take their career exploration to the next level with the features we create to prepare and connect them with local training and career opportunities.

In the afternoon, Jeremy will share the tools, resources, and features Edge Factor has created to help organizations and employers showcase the training opportunities and careers they offer. While challenging them to get involved in workforce development in their local community. This time will be spent with local organizations such as Workforce Planning Hamilton, Path Employment Services, Immigrants Working Centre, and Mohawk’s Apprenticeship HUB.
