The launch of Version 8.1 of the [Edge Factor](https://edgefactor.com/zone/browse) platform will help learners of all ages, from K-Grey,  map their Career Journey like never before and discover the incredible opportunities their community has to offer. The Learner’s Journey Map will be a personalized learning experience for every user, based on where  they live, what they are interested in, what they’re good at and what they have been able to achieve in the platform.   Starting in March 2022, Edge Factor will be meeting with our community partners, educators, Business leaders, and Workforce Development leaders, to review the ways they can leverage the power of the smart platform. In the months leading up to the July launch date, we will be meeting with individual organizations showcasing the technology, gathering feedback, and helping ensure their objectives are integrated into the Edge Factor Platform.   The new features being introduced will allow learners  to earn badges, take courses and personal assessments as they go on their own Inspiration, Exploration, Preparation and Connection (IEPC) Journey. The IEPC journey is fundamental to the experience for every age group, with Learning Objects spanning grades K-12+ and unique learning outcomes for all ages. Each of our learners will be able to review the things they have earned and learned in a format that is available to them at no cost, no matter whether they earned the achievement inside the Edge Factor platform, in a Partner’s Interoperable Platform, or in their school’s Learning Management System.   For over a decade, Edge Factor has equipped educators, workforce leaders and families with age-appropriate e- learning and career exploration multimedia experiences. We use the power of cinematic storytelling to guide people through a Career Journey from "*I have no idea what to do with my life!*" all the way to, *"I have browsed the opportunities, made informed decisions, and successfully launched a local training and career pathway!"* Our e-learning library equips learners to discover industries, careers, CTE/ SHSM and postsecondary programs, Soft Skills, STEAM, and local opportunities.
