Edge Factor is proud to partner with Louisiana Believes at the Louisiana Department of Education’s annual Jump Start convention, being held on January 28, 2020, at the Raising Cane’s River Center in Baton Rouge, LA. 2020 marks the sixth year for the Jump Start Convention. Edge Factor has been working with the Louisiana Department of Education, the CTE Leadership Academy, and several CTE Directors throughout the state to increase awareness of CTE and Jump Start programs, empowering communities with story-driven tools to tackle workforce development, inspire students, reach parents and bridge relationships. Edge Factor’s Founder and President Jeremy Bout, and Edge Factor’s User Experience Specialist Carolyn Davis will represent Edge Factor and join education and industry leaders to celebrate the state’s progress in implementing their CTE (Career and Technical Education) programs. Last year’s convention saw over 1400 education and community leaders participate. Jump Start is Louisiana’s state initiative to provide students with career credentials that allow them to continue their education after high school.
The theme for this year’s convention is “Jump Start 2.0: Modern Pathways for a Prosperous Future.” The convention provides opportunities for participants to attend morning and afternoon sessions which will equip them with the knowledge and resources they need to implement CTE programs in their school or Parish. The Founder of Edge Factor, Jeremy Bout is excited to attend this event with the User Experience team to meet with key CTE and Educational leaders and move this initiative forward!
