How do we inspire students and reach parents? At Edge Factor, we believe it all begins with a good story! We travel the globe to film real people working in diverse industry sectors to create high-impact career exploration media. Our e-learning resources provide educators and students with the tools they need to dig deeper and make meaningful connections.
Partnering with industry and educational leaders Edge Factor has filmed and published career exploration media featuring real life stories of people pushing back the edge of what’s possible and using their minds, hands, and technology to build the future and impact lives. We are proud to share free access to this media (and much more!) on an all-new landing page called, California has the Edge!
This is a family-friendly space, where students, parents, and job-seekers become inspired to launch their own training and career pathways. With inspirational films, Career Profile videos, Virtual Workplace Experiences, and more, this landing page highlights careers, tools and equipment, soft skills, and STEAM topics that come alive on the job. Brought to you in part by the California Department of Education’s Arts, Media, and Entertainment team, this landing page is available to everyone across the Golden State completely for free!
