For Immediate Release:
January 20, 2020. Hamilton, Ontario- Partnering with the Industry-Education Council of Hamilton, Edge Factor is inspiring students and jobseekers across Hamilton to launch local career pathways and sharing local stories, beginning with Gowling WLG.
Using the power of cinematic storytelling, Edge Factor’s career pathway videos showcase real-life people using their heads, hands, and technology to push back the edge of what’s possible. The videos make STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) relevant, instill soft skills, and ultimately, take people on a journey to discover how they can launch exciting local career and training pathways.
All of the career videos and interactive activities Edger Factor creates are delivered through their membership-based, online platform.
Edge Factor equips its business and education users with tools to add “profiles” about their organization and the careers and training programs they offer.
Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board, Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board, and Mohawk College all have access to the Edge Factor platform and are implementing these tools in classrooms and homes: Edgefactor.com/HamiltonON
